一、說(shuō)教材
Go for it! 是以任務(wù)型語(yǔ)言教學(xué)為基礎(chǔ)的英語(yǔ)教材,它體現(xiàn)“以學(xué)生為中心”和“以人為本”的教學(xué)思想,融話題、交際功能和語(yǔ)言結(jié)構(gòu)于一體。本書(shū)每個(gè)單元都列出明確的語(yǔ)言目標(biāo)、主要的功能項(xiàng)目和語(yǔ)法結(jié)構(gòu)、需要掌握的基本詞匯,并分為Section A和Section B兩部分。Section A為目標(biāo)句型提供分步事例和指導(dǎo)性練習(xí);Section B使學(xué)生能夠?qū)σ呀?jīng)學(xué)過(guò)的目標(biāo)句型運(yùn)用自如。每個(gè)單元還附有Self Check部分,此部分是讓學(xué)生用來(lái)測(cè)試自己現(xiàn)階段的英語(yǔ)水平,即對(duì)本單元的語(yǔ)言目標(biāo)的掌握程度有較為明確的認(rèn)識(shí)。
Starter Unit 1是Go for it! 預(yù)備篇三個(gè)單元中的第一單元。預(yù)備篇是為了使沒(méi)有英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)基礎(chǔ)的學(xué)生更好地使用本套教材而編寫(xiě)的。它的主要內(nèi)容為26個(gè)字母和最基本的英語(yǔ)日常用語(yǔ)。
本單元的教學(xué)內(nèi)容為:學(xué)習(xí)Aa---Hh 8個(gè)字母。
學(xué)習(xí)hi、hello、good、morning、afternoon、evening、fine、OK、thanks等詞匯。
學(xué)習(xí)不同時(shí)間見(jiàn)面時(shí)的問(wèn)候語(yǔ)及其回答。
二、教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)思路
在Go for it! 的教材上,每個(gè)單元只有一個(gè)總體的教學(xué)內(nèi)容安排,既沒(méi)有具體的課時(shí)數(shù)安排,也沒(méi)有分課時(shí)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容安排。所以,對(duì)教師來(lái)說(shuō),這是一個(gè)靈活運(yùn)用教材的機(jī)會(huì),任何教學(xué)內(nèi)容的調(diào)整和取舍,都是合理的。但這也是挑戰(zhàn),教師必須從所教學(xué)生的實(shí)際水平和語(yǔ)言能力出發(fā),合理安排本單元的課時(shí)數(shù),設(shè)計(jì)好每課時(shí)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容。
所以,教師在教學(xué)設(shè)計(jì)時(shí),首先因根據(jù)自己學(xué)生的實(shí)際水平和語(yǔ)言能力,排出整個(gè)單元的總課時(shí)數(shù),然后安排好每個(gè)分課時(shí)的教學(xué)內(nèi)容,設(shè)計(jì)好相應(yīng)的教學(xué)步驟,以及運(yùn)用相應(yīng)的教學(xué)策略。

教學(xué)難點(diǎn):a) 不同時(shí)間的不同問(wèn)候;
b) 人名的讀法和人物與名字的配對(duì)(8個(gè))。
整個(gè)單元的內(nèi)容,我把它分配在3個(gè)課時(shí)中完成。
第一課時(shí):完成Section A----1a,1b。
課時(shí)目標(biāo):a) 學(xué)習(xí)見(jiàn)面時(shí)的相互問(wèn)候。
b) 認(rèn)識(shí)1a中的8個(gè)人物,能正確讀出他們的名字。
第二課時(shí):完成Section A----2a,2b,2c,2d,3,4a,4b,4c。
課時(shí)目標(biāo):a) 學(xué)習(xí)字母Aa----Hh。
b) 了解一些英語(yǔ)縮略詞的意思。
c) 鞏固上一課時(shí)中所學(xué)的人名及不同時(shí)間的問(wèn)候。
第三課時(shí):完成Section B 1, 2a, 2b, 3a, 3b, 4, 5;
Self Check 1, 2, 3, 4。
課時(shí)目標(biāo):a) 學(xué)習(xí)將相同元音音素的字母和單詞歸類(A/ei/, //, E/i:/, /e/)。
b) 鞏固本單元的字母、單詞和句型。
c) 培養(yǎng)自我檢測(cè)能力以及名字卡片的建立。

本單元要求學(xué)生掌握英文字母Aa-Hh,能認(rèn)讀其印刷體和手寫(xiě)體字母的大小寫(xiě)等四種形式;能看, 聽(tīng),說(shuō)本單元所列的日常交際用語(yǔ),重點(diǎn)學(xué)會(huì)打招呼,并做到語(yǔ)音語(yǔ)調(diào)正確。
C、 情感目標(biāo)
萬(wàn)事開(kāi)頭難,首先利用這個(gè)單元培養(yǎng)學(xué)生們對(duì)英語(yǔ)的興趣,因?yàn)榕d趣是最好的老師。
四、教學(xué)策略
1、 以任務(wù)型教學(xué)作為課堂教學(xué)理念、利用整體語(yǔ)言教學(xué)法、情景教學(xué)法、交際教學(xué)法等。
2、 在教學(xué)中創(chuàng)設(shè)切實(shí)可行的任務(wù)型教學(xué)活動(dòng)、突出交際性。
3、 教師為主導(dǎo)、學(xué)生為主體、任務(wù)為基礎(chǔ),注重實(shí)用性。
4、 引趣激趣策略,創(chuàng)設(shè)情景調(diào)節(jié)氣氛,引發(fā)激發(fā)學(xué)生興趣。

The first period
Step 1:A song
Listen to a “Good morning!” song. Then Ss learn to sing this song.(利用JEFC教材中的Good morning!歌曲導(dǎo)入新課.)
Step 2:Introduction
Come into the classroom and greet the class with a smile and say Good morning!
Now, introduce the words “teacher” and “class” by using gestures. Repeat this several times and have the class repeat after you. Students can answer as a whole group, as rows and as individuals. Repeat “I am your teacher and you are the class” several times.
You may want to leave the class again to introduce the usual Good morning routine. Say Good morning,class. Help students respond with Good morning. Point to yourself and say I’m Miss/Mr. … Have them repeat. Explain the terms Miss and Mr. in Chinese.
Repeat this a few times with rows and individuals.

Say Open your books, turn to page 1. There are 8 students in the picture.(按圖片上的人物數(shù))One, two, three, four, five, six, seven, eight. Their names are: Grace, Bob, Dale, Helen, Eric, Frank, Cindy and Alice.(可以通過(guò)大屏幕展示第一頁(yè)上的彩圖,然后再展示單張圖片,并分別與名字相對(duì)應(yīng)。)Ss repeat after the teacher one by one until they know everyone in the picture.

通過(guò)大屏幕上所出現(xiàn)的時(shí)間和人名(時(shí)間可以通過(guò)數(shù)字、鐘表或圖片來(lái)展示,圖片可以利用Section A---4b和Just for fun中的),讓學(xué)生區(qū)分Good morning! Good afternoon! 和Good evening! 的運(yùn)用(閃現(xiàn)時(shí)間逐漸加快,可以用組與組之間比賽的方法,按得分的多少來(lái)決定勝負(fù))。

Step 5: Listen, repeat and write
Get the students to listen to the tape 2a. Then repeat after the tape one by one. Pay attention to the pronunciation of the letters Cc, Hh and Ff.
Have the students watch the teacher writing the letters on the blackboard, then ask them to follow the teacher and write down these letters on their exercise-books. Let the students know the differences between the big letters and the small letters.
