教學(xué)過程:
Ⅰ.Revision 1.dication. 2.make a dialogue about the last lesson
、.warming up;
教師把事先準(zhǔn)備好的一些有關(guān)中秋節(jié)的圖片或錄像資料展示給學(xué)生,然后提問:
1.What are they doing?
2.Why?
3. What day it may be?
學(xué)生答道;1.They are having a dinner. Some of them are talking.
2. They are having a celebration.
3.It may be Zhong qiu jie。The moon is big and bright.
教師說 :Ok, today we are going to learn something about Zhongqiujie. How do we say Zhongqiujie in English?
學(xué)生答 Mid- autumn day.

1.教師說 Now, listen to the tape and see what are Hun Mei and Lucy going to do on the mid-autumn day,放錄音,學(xué)生聽一遍錄音材料 然后回答:They are going to have mid-autumn day.
2學(xué)生跟錄音磁帶讀兩遍對話。并找出不認(rèn)識的單詞和短語
3.教師解釋文中的短語和單詞be free, call sb. Sth, come over,autumn, festival, free, mid-autumn. Moon cake, nut, and sweet, inside, store.
(1)be free;意為有空。Free 是形容詞,在句中做表語Be 。動(dòng)詞可隨著不同人稱和時(shí)態(tài)變化。例如:Are you free this afternoon? No ,I am very busy .I have a lot of homework to do .另外free還有免費(fèi)的意思。
。2)come over:意為過來,順路來訪。例如:My sister lived far from me. Today, she is free. She comes over to my house.
(3)would like: 意為愿意,喜歡,想要。后面可以跟名詞也可以跟動(dòng)詞不定式。例如;I would like that bananas. What about you? No, I would like to drink some water.
(4)on mid–autumn day :注意介詞的用法。在節(jié)日介詞用on, 例如:people get together to have a party on mid-autumn day ,especially the children they are very happy about it .
。5)at this time of year:意為在一年的這個(gè)時(shí)候。
例如:A: My father always takes me to have a holiday at this time of year.
B: My mothers always buy a lot of gifts for me at this time of year.

1.教師可以在黑板上用簡筆畫畫出兩個(gè)大小不一的月餅然后指著小月餅說;Big, it is a big moon cake 同時(shí)在下面寫下big 然后指著大的說:bigger, it is bigger.然后寫成下bigger最后進(jìn)行比較說;This one is bigger than that one。如圖:

4.教師把兩把尺子放到桌子上演示;I have two rulers. This ruler is long. This one is longer. This ruler is longer than that one.
5.教師讓學(xué)生仿照教師就其他組實(shí)物進(jìn)行口頭練習(xí)并把句子寫下來。然后讓學(xué)生自己總結(jié)句型:主語+be+形容詞比較級+than +其他

Step 1. Revision
1.Revise形容詞比較級的用法
1)Ask the students to write down the comparative degree form of those adj:cheap- large- hard- hot -
2)實(shí)物練習(xí):教師出示實(shí)物讓學(xué)生編一個(gè)關(guān)于購物的小對話。要求學(xué)生購物時(shí)使用形容詞比較級對商品進(jìn)行比較。用句型:主語+be+形容詞的比較級+than +其它
2.教師關(guān)于第九課對話的提問。
A:What is mid-autumn day?
B: What is moon cake like?
學(xué)生回答On Mid-autumn Day we usually eat a big dinner and moon cakes.
They are small round cakes with meat, eggs, nuts or something sweet inside。
Step 2 Presentation
1.利用已學(xué)過的對話引出有關(guān)中秋節(jié)的話題 today we are going to read an e-mail to see how did Lucy introduce mid-autumn day to her friend.
2.讓學(xué)生默讀一遍課文(五分鐘左右),并用鉛筆劃出課文中的生詞,鼓勵(lì)學(xué)生根據(jù)上下文來判斷這些詞的意思。然后回答下列幾個(gè)問題:
。1)Is this an email from Lucy to Joe?
(2)What day is Mid- Autumn Day?
。3)What do people do on the day?
。4)What kind of special food do people eat?
3.教師對學(xué)生標(biāo)出的新單詞進(jìn)行講解,并對文章中新出現(xiàn)的重點(diǎn)詞匯和短語進(jìn)行講解
。1)Thank for意為:謝某人某事。結(jié)構(gòu):thank sb for sth 或thank for sth.
例如
A:I must thank you for the advice. You really give us a great help
B: You should thank for you teacher. She is kind
。2)get together:意為聚會,動(dòng)詞。 get-together意為聚會,名詞。結(jié)構(gòu):have a get-together.
例如
A: We are going to get together to celebrate the new year. How about you?
B: Lucy and I had a get-together yesterday
。3)in the open air意為在露天。例如;What did you do in the open air? We had an party.
。4)at this time of year:意為在一年的這個(gè)時(shí)候。
例如:
A: My father always takes me to have a holiday at this time of year.
B: My mothers always buy a lot of gifts for me at this time of year.
4.學(xué)生完成閱讀課文后,完成此表格的填寫,以總結(jié)概括全文。

Step 1 Revision
1.教師讓學(xué)生自己編一個(gè)對話進(jìn)行表演向其他同學(xué)介紹中秋節(jié)和月餅?蓞⒄盏谑n教師所列表格
2.聽寫第十課的單詞和詞組。
3.教師組織學(xué)生復(fù)習(xí)形容詞的比較級的形式和用法
(1)Ask the students to write down the comparative degree form of those word: tall, long, nice, thin, hot, heavy, good, happy)
。2)教師出示實(shí)物,要求學(xué)生做口頭和筆頭練習(xí)。例如:I have two balls. This one is big. That one is bigger. That one is bigger than this one.
Step 2 Presentation
(1)教師可以出示幾組實(shí)物讓學(xué)生說出nice nicer, cheap cheaper, heavy heavier等形容詞比較形式,然后告訴學(xué)生如何把形容詞變成比較級形式.
(2)教師可以在黑板上用簡筆畫畫出三個(gè)大小不一的月餅然后指著小月餅說;Big, it is a big. 同時(shí)在下面寫下big 然后指著大的說:bigger, it is bigger.然后寫成下bigger最后指著最大的球。同時(shí)在下面寫下biggest進(jìn)行比較說;This one is biggest of three.如圖:

。3)讓學(xué)生仿照教師就其他組實(shí)物進(jìn)行口頭練習(xí)
(4)讓學(xué)生自己總結(jié)比較等級的句型:主語+be+形容詞比較級+than +其他 和主語+be+ the+形容詞最高級+of/ in+范圍
。5)把學(xué)生分成小組,每組學(xué)生根據(jù)實(shí)際情況進(jìn)行比較等級對話練習(xí)。
。6)教師放錄音磁帶Read and say的內(nèi)容。
學(xué)生先聽一遍。然后完成練習(xí)ture or flase

Step 1. Revision
1)做下列填空練習(xí)。

2)學(xué)生三人一組討論誰的鉛筆長。
3)讓學(xué)生根據(jù)第十課總結(jié)中秋節(jié)習(xí)俗的表格編成幾句話。做一個(gè)講演。
Step2 Presentation
1. Spelling and pronunciation .
通過投影出示單詞,教師領(lǐng)讀單詞。學(xué)生比較發(fā)音,總結(jié)發(fā)音規(guī)律。
2.Stress and intonation
學(xué)生聽錄音然后跟讀,讀時(shí)可以在重音處擊掌。引導(dǎo)學(xué)生體會。
3.Listen
第一遍泛聽,知大意。第二遍分段聽,填出所確缺的單詞。第三遍檢查答案。
4. Read and act.
(1)教師導(dǎo)入新課we have reviewed the mid-autumn day just now. Today we are going to learn a American holiday: Thanksgiving.
(2)聽第一遍錄音,判斷Ture or Flase.:
1) They eat chicken on thanksgiving
2) Only American have thanksgiving.

Step3 Practice
1.Write
Students write out several groups of sentences to compare things, then read them to their partners and correct each other’s mistakes. (Call a student to write on the blackboard so that teacher can correct their common mistakes.)
2.Talk about the pictures
Students use comparatives and superlatives to talk about the pictures in small groups, call one group to say it to the class. Then they may say anything about the pictures, even to make stories. Teacher write out some words of the things in the Picture “calendar, feast, candle, firework, wine, plant,” etc.
教師可選擇在課后讓學(xué)生自己來完成此部分內(nèi)容。
