1.推薦人的身份要合理,最好是相關(guān)專業(yè)的。
如果申請(qǐng)人是一個(gè)還在校的學(xué)生,那比較好的選擇應(yīng)該就是系主任、專業(yè)任課老師、班主任,或者課外活動(dòng)、社會(huì)活動(dòng)的見(jiàn)證人作為推薦人;如果申請(qǐng)人已經(jīng)畢業(yè)或者參加工作了,也可以選擇你的直接上司,或者大學(xué)畢業(yè)論文指導(dǎo)作為推薦人。沒(méi)必要找一個(gè)和申請(qǐng)人的專業(yè)不熟悉,和申請(qǐng)人不熟悉的院士或者大公司總裁之類的人作為你的推薦人。
2.推薦人要熟悉申請(qǐng)人的學(xué)習(xí)和工作。

3.其它需要注意的地方。
有些學(xué)校已經(jīng)提供了推薦信表格,這樣只要把內(nèi)容填進(jìn)去就可以了。如果沒(méi)提供的就最好用印有推薦人單位名稱的信封和信紙,并用激光打印機(jī)打印。在信封的封口處需要推薦人的簽名。推薦信可以和申請(qǐng)表一起寄出,但要記得在信封正面寫(xiě)上推薦人和對(duì)方學(xué)校的聯(lián)系地址,以便對(duì)方學(xué)校核查。

2.表明推薦人對(duì)申請(qǐng)人個(gè)性特征的印象(學(xué)習(xí)精神、工作態(tài)度、與同學(xué)/同事相處的情形、組織領(lǐng)導(dǎo)能力、學(xué)術(shù)專長(zhǎng)、研究能力、有無(wú)工作經(jīng)驗(yàn)與否),并加注評(píng)語(yǔ)。
3.表明推薦人對(duì)你能否順利完成學(xué)位的看法。比如通過(guò)描述你在分配的特殊職務(wù)上的表現(xiàn),以表現(xiàn)你的應(yīng)變能力。又比如申請(qǐng)人是否還有其它潛力未發(fā)揮?如果申請(qǐng)人的成績(jī)不太理想,通過(guò)評(píng)述推薦人對(duì)申請(qǐng)人的看法,解釋申請(qǐng)人雖然形式上的成績(jī)不太理想,卻有極深厚的潛力尚未發(fā)揮。如果申請(qǐng)人要轉(zhuǎn)專業(yè),也可以站在推薦人的觀察角度,通過(guò)強(qiáng)調(diào)申請(qǐng)人強(qiáng)烈的學(xué)習(xí)動(dòng)機(jī),相信以申請(qǐng)人的表現(xiàn)一定可以成功完成學(xué)業(yè)。
4.重述推薦人對(duì)申請(qǐng)人能力的確認(rèn),以再次肯定對(duì)申請(qǐng)人的支持與推薦。
最后來(lái)看看書(shū)寫(xiě)注意事項(xiàng)。
1.提供充分的信息給推薦人。要想推薦人能掌握你的優(yōu)點(diǎn),你就要提供充分全面的信息。要盡量具體、避免空洞地陳述。
2.每封推薦信的書(shū)信字體,宜選不同的型式,以示不同的推薦人。
3.一般情況下,推薦人不可能知道或了解你的特質(zhì),請(qǐng)勿提及。例如,學(xué)生課外活動(dòng)的表現(xiàn)就不適于平常教授正式科目的導(dǎo)師提及,除非導(dǎo)師也參與其中。又比如其它課堂上的表現(xiàn),除非其它導(dǎo)師曾經(jīng)提及過(guò),否則不適合此科導(dǎo)師以外的`導(dǎo)師再評(píng)論學(xué)生的表現(xiàn)。再比如學(xué)生如何在圖書(shū)館查數(shù)據(jù)、寫(xiě)報(bào)告,一般導(dǎo)師是不可能知之甚詳?shù),除非?shí)在太特殊而略有耳聞,故也不適合在推薦信中提及。
4.推薦信的內(nèi)容盡量簡(jiǎn)短有力。不要虛無(wú)空洞的形容詞,例如你任職于某公司時(shí),勤勞、負(fù)責(zé)、認(rèn)真、為人謙虛、誠(chéng)懇等這類的語(yǔ)句不宜多用,最好講出具體事實(shí),才不流于形式。
5.推薦人最好與你申請(qǐng)的專業(yè)或?qū)W校相關(guān)。比如說(shuō),如果你將來(lái)計(jì)劃主修英文,最好推薦人之一是英文老師。

一、寫(xiě)作的技巧
1、全篇之間前后呼應(yīng)
做到前后呼應(yīng)可以使整篇文章讀下來(lái)更顯一氣呵成,最簡(jiǎn)單的方式是首尾分別總結(jié)文章大意。比如說(shuō)在第一段寫(xiě)了該同學(xué)是一名有研究能力、樂(lè)于分享的學(xué)生,那么就可以在最后一段這樣寫(xiě):因?yàn)樵撏瑢W(xué)較強(qiáng)的研究能力和樂(lè)于分享的精神,我愿意向你們誠(chéng)摯地推薦他。
2、段落之間承上啟下
段落之間最基本的要求就是要做到承上啟下,即使段落之間的關(guān)系僅僅是并列。很多推薦信的正文部分的兩個(gè)段落或者三個(gè)段落完全可以單獨(dú)拎出來(lái)其中的一段另成一篇推薦信,這不能說(shuō)是錯(cuò)誤的,但是可以說(shuō)是不夠嚴(yán)謹(jǐn)?shù)。很多人?jiān)持這樣成稿并不是不知道這不夠完美,而是因?yàn)檫@樣成稿實(shí)在是可以省下不少腦細(xì)胞,這委實(shí)是一個(gè)偷懶妙招。為什么這樣說(shuō)呢?因?yàn)榈惨笸扑]信做到承上啟下,就意味著要花費(fèi)更多的力氣去思考怎么承上啟下,運(yùn)用什么句子來(lái)實(shí)現(xiàn)承上啟下,很多時(shí)候去思索這些句子比寫(xiě)內(nèi)容更困難?墒沁@畢竟是人生之大事不是?有能力者,還是該盡力去思考一下如何承上啟下吧。
3、句子之間邏輯鮮明
相比前面所說(shuō)的以及后面要說(shuō)的所有技巧,句子之間的邏輯性嚴(yán)格來(lái)說(shuō)并不是技巧,而是基本要求。可是就是在這個(gè)最基本的要求上,幾乎人人都會(huì)出現(xiàn)問(wèn)題。我曾經(jīng)嘗試去了解為什么人人都會(huì)出問(wèn)題,反饋回來(lái)的信息旗幟鮮明地指向了一個(gè)客觀理由和一個(gè)主觀不努力。首先來(lái)說(shuō)客觀理由:我們平時(shí)的`溝通所依賴的多數(shù)都是口頭語(yǔ)言,鮮有依賴紙面文字溝通的情形。而我們?cè)谡f(shuō)話時(shí),可以想到什么就說(shuō)什么,不必提前打好草稿,依照草稿來(lái)讀(或許演講除外),所以其實(shí)我們甚至不需要考慮下面這句話是否跟上面這句話有邏輯性,只要對(duì)方能懂,問(wèn)題就迎刃而解。
二、寫(xiě)作時(shí)要注意的
一是越是知名度高、錄取比例低的學(xué)校,推薦信在整個(gè)申請(qǐng)材料中發(fā)揮的作用越大。
二是推薦信的作用不是重復(fù)申請(qǐng)人的考試成績(jī),而是表現(xiàn)學(xué)生的“無(wú)形資質(zhì)”,如學(xué)術(shù)能力和興趣,應(yīng)對(duì)挫折和困難的能力,創(chuàng)造力、求知欲。
三是推薦信的著眼點(diǎn)不是替學(xué)校做出錄取判斷,而在于客觀地描述一個(gè)語(yǔ)言考試和學(xué)業(yè)成績(jī)等用數(shù)字不能展現(xiàn)的全面的人。
四是好的推薦信要有具體事例,寫(xiě)出被推薦人的獨(dú)有特點(diǎn)、與眾不同的地方。語(yǔ)氣誠(chéng)懇、真實(shí),寫(xiě)出推薦人本人和學(xué)生的接觸感受,不能是從其他渠道獲得的信息,要用正式的信頭格式。

I taught mr. che ku automation principles, where he left me with a deep impression of his intellect, devotion and passion for the subject. i enjoyed many interactions with him, not only as one of my students, but also as the representative in charge of studies for his class. mr. fang demonstrated a sound understanding of mechatronics, grasping the gist of ideas quickly, and adeptly applying them in real situation.
the issue of de-listing in the chinese stock market was a popular subject for graduation theses. but miss zheng juan took an entirely original angle by undertaking a systematic comparative analysis of international de-listing mechanisms. through sedulous study of the foreign stock exchanges, she established a model system for de-listing in the chinese stock market, supporting it with first-rate qualitative and quantitative analysis as well as sophisticated regression models. her exceptional gift for mathematics was evident in this section of the thesis. miss zheng’s paper was impeccably researched, and her excellent english had enabled her to make full use of a wide range of english-language sources. the evaluation committee was greatly impressed, and awarded her the highest grade.
his talents for writing intelligent and informative economic literature paid off when several of his articles were published in leading economic magazines of the country. this was an outstanding achievement for such a young student and it emphasized to me that his potential to become a competent and leading economist was greater than i first thought.
based on his obvious competence and his natural curiosity, i asked him to join my research group as my assistant. mr. xu xin is a very responsible person, and is very devoted to the science he is studying. the diligence and care with which he performs his work is matched by his enthusiasm. although at first his technical skills needed some improvement, he very quickly mastered the skills he needed to conduct
the research thoroughly and meticulously. now he can manipulate every instrument very well, and he has developed the ability to conduct some research work independently. after this first, very positive experience as a member of my research group i have since asked him to join my group many times. xu xin is currently doing research work for me, and i am optimistic about our ability to work together.
in graduate school, he further strengthened his research ability. in 1999, mr. yu and a team of researchers took charge of a project on the interference cancellation multi-users receiver. he came up with the original idea of combining the interference cancellation with the pilot-aided coherent demodulation method. this idea was tested successfully for its robustness through calculation and through simulation in cossap. once again, mr. yu’s talent and creativity shined through when he participated in a joint project with several other labs to design our own wcdma system from the ground up. my lab was responsible for building the receiver of base station. in recognition of his ability to research, i assigned him to design and test the receiver of rach, a crucial subsystem of the project. he demonstrated his high proficiency in his ability to use english literature. finally, he presented me with yet another excellent product within three months.
