When we talk about being independent, we often think about leaving our parents and living alone. The mental independence is always ignored by people, mental independence means the person can measure the things and make the right decision. As for the children, even they move out and stay far away from their parents, but sometimes they just can#39;t control themselves, they will get the bad behavior, like smoking and drinking, their life is losing control. The young people need to cultivate their independent spirit, they should think by themselves, learn to take care of the other people, thus they can be the real independent. When a person grows up, they can be strong enough to support their lives and at the same time, they can be mature enough to make their own decision. They can tell what is wrong and what is right.
當(dāng)我們談到成為獨(dú)立，總是想要離開父母，獨(dú)自居住。而精神上的獨(dú)立總是被人們忽略，其實(shí)精神上的獨(dú)立意味著一個(gè)人能衡量事情，做出正確的決定。對(duì)于孩子來說，雖然他們搬出去，遠(yuǎn)離父母，但是有時(shí)候他們無法自控，養(yǎng)成不好的習(xí)慣。比如抽煙和喝酒，他們的生活會(huì)失控。年輕人需要養(yǎng)成獨(dú)立精神，他們應(yīng)該自己思考，學(xué)著去照顧別人，這樣才能真正的獨(dú)立。當(dāng)一個(gè)人成長(zhǎng)了，他們才能夠足夠的強(qiáng)大去養(yǎng)活自己，同時(shí)，也能夠足夠成熟去做決定。他們能區(qū)分什么是好，什么是壞。

These days.my parents and i have talking about whether i should study abroad.I fully understand the parents to send me abroad for my good.But I really do not want to leave home, and I think their standard of spoken language is not enough, I also know that study abroad is very expensive, and now is just a waste of money to go abroad.Mom and Dad just do not understand why I was thinking it? No matter how I say that they ignore me. They say that these are an excuse to go abroad to foreign language will naturally increase, where they also can be given to more friends, what is bad.They said I was a person living abroad can enhance their ability to live independently is conducive to their own development. In every school a “top” crowd sets the pace, while the others follow their lead. Let#39;s say the top crowd decides that it is smart to wear bright red sweaters.Pretty soon everybody is wearing a bright red sweater. There is nothing wrong with that, except the fact that on some people a bright red sweater is extremely unbecoming. The situation can even become dangerous, if the top crowd decides that it is smart to drink or to drive cars at seventy miles an hour.Then the people who follow the lead are endangering their lives. They are like the sheep being led to the butcher.
Now, chances are that you have come across situations like these more than once in your life; chances are that one time or another you probably did something you knew to be wrong. You may have excused yourself by saying, “Gee, the crowd does it.” Well, let the crowd do it, but don#39;t do it yourself. Learn to say, “No.”
Develop your own standards and your own judgment. If you know the crowd is planning something you disagree with,have the courage to bow out politely. You#39;ll have the satisfaction of standing on your own two feet.
每所學(xué)校中都有一群領(lǐng)頭學(xué)生做出榜樣，其他人蜂擁效仿。比如這些領(lǐng)頭學(xué)生決定穿鮮紅色羊毛衫很時(shí)尚，那很快人人都會(huì)穿著鮮紅色羊毛衫。這件事本身沒什么問題，除了有些人極不適合穿鮮紅色毛衫這一事實(shí)。但如果這些領(lǐng)頭學(xué)生覺得喝酒或以70英里的時(shí)速開車很時(shí)尚的話，情況甚至?xí)兊梦ｋU(xiǎn)起來。這些盲從的學(xué)生在危及自己的生命。他們就像被領(lǐng)到屠夫前的羊群。
