我最尷尬的經(jīng)歷英語作文 2
As is often the case, sometime last month I walked on the street and found someone smiling or even trying to talk to me, but I couldn"t recall who he or she was at all. I felt so ill at ease that all I did was only to gently stand there and try my best to smile as brightly as possible.
One day such a thing happened again. While I was greeting that beautiful girl, a crazy idea came into my mind that I decided to keep on talking with her though I didn"t know her. Luckily, we had a pleasant conversation for ten minutes. But when saying good-bye to each other, we both suddenly found she had mistaken me for my elder sister. What an embarrassing experience it was!
我最尷尬的經(jīng)歷英語作文 3
It was the last day of the old year. Towards noon time when I hurried to bus station, the No. 943 Bus had just arrived. I got on it and found a seat at the back. But when it’s time for me to get off, the bus was so crowded that even the walkway was full of standing people. I tried hard to squeeze to the door and got off. Then I went to the biggest supermarket in the town. After entering the gate, I took a huge basket and began to choose the needed articles for the preparation of celebrating the Chinese Lunar New Year. The basketful articles included prawns(對蝦), lobsters(龍蝦), fish-maws(魚肚), sea-cucumbers(海參), etc.
Then I lined up in the queue waiting for paying the money. After the articles being checked by the casher, she said, “Yours? 250!” I was stunned but began to put my right hand to the pocket to try to find my wallet. To my great surprise, my wallet wasn’t there. I searched all my pockets for it but failed. The casher and all other people waiting in the queue were all looking at me with curious looks. In the end, I felt very embarrassed and said, “Sorry, I have lost my wallet!” I murmured to myself, “I remembered having put the wallet in my pocket before I had left home. It must have been lost in the bus.” The casher sneered, “You are really a 250!” At the moment I got quite annoyed and left the supermarket with empty hands.

As they work out for a long time, their relatives will be very curious about them, they want to know how these young people are going on, so they will ask the awkward questions, such as they will ask them if they have a girlfriend or boyfriend, how much is their salary, when will they buy the house…
All of these questions are private, young people don’t want to answer it, most of them just do the normal job and don’t get the high salary. Some people even don’t want to go home just to avoid being asked such questions. The elder people should considerate the young people, they’d better not to ask such questions which will embarrass the young people. They can talk other things.
我最尷尬的經(jīng)歷英語作文 5
Embarrassing moments are a part of life and we all have them. I vividly remember an incident that happened to me a few years ago which still makes me cringe whenever I think about it.
It was a regular day at school and I was feeling confident as I walked into my English class. Little did I know that the universe had a different plan for me that day. My teacher announced that we would be having a debate in class and each student had to speak for a few minutes on a given topic. The topic assigned to me was "The Importance of Learning a Foreign Language."
As it was my turn to speak I stood up and confidently walked to the front of the class. Unfortunately as soon as I opened my mouth to speak I forgot all the prepared points and froze. It felt like the words had vanished from my brain leaving me in complete silence.
I could feel everyones eyes on me waiting for me to say something. My mind went blank and I started to stutter struggling to find the right words. The whole class was awkwardly silent and I could see a few classmates trying to contain their laughter.
After what felt like an eternity I managed to gather my thoughts and started speaking though it was a jumble of words and incoherent sentences. I could feel the embarrassment engulfing me and it was a struggle to finish my speech.
When I finally finished there was a mixture of relief and humiliation on my face. I quickly sat down hoping that the ground would swallow me whole. My classmates were kind enough not to mention it but I knew that I had faced one of the most embarrassing moments of my life.
Though it was a painful experience it taught me a valuable lesson about being prepared and not letting embarrassment hold me back. From that day forward I vowed to always be well-prepared and embrace any embarrassing moments as opportunities for growth.
Embarrassing moments are a part of life and its important to not let them define us. Instead let them be reminders of our resilience and ability to overcome challenges.
我最尷尬的經(jīng)歷英語作文 6
Last month I had the most embarrassing experience of my life. It happened during a business meeting with my international colleagues. As an English expert I was responsible for presenting the companys new project. However things didnt go as planned.
Everything started well and I was confident in my ability to deliver a fluent and engaging presentation. However halfway through my speech I suddenly forgot a key point. My mind went blank and I stuttered trying to find the right words.
The room fell into silence and I could feel the gaze of my colleagues on me. I mustered my courage and apologized for the momentary lapse in my memory promising to come back to the point shortly. However as I tried to continue I stumbled over words and lost track of the presentations flow.
To make matters worse my face turned bright red betraying my embarrassment. Sweat started to form on my forehead and my voice became shaky. I knew that I was failing miserably in front of my colleagues.
Thankfully one of my colleagues sensing my discomfort stepped in and smoothly continued the presentation. I was relieved but still mortified by my performance. After the meeting I privately apologized to each colleague for my blunder.
This experience taught me two valuable lessons. Firstly even experts make mistakes and its important to handle them gracefully. Secondly I realized the importance of practicing and preparing thoroughly for any presentation no matter how confident I feel.
In the end this embarrassing experience turned out to be a valuable lesson in humility and growth. It reminded me that even the most confident individuals can stumble but it is how we recover from our mistakes that truly defines us.
我最尷尬的經(jīng)歷英語作文 7
We have bigger houses and smaller families, more convenient, but less time. We have more degrees, but less common sense, more knowledge, but less judgment, more experts, but more problems, more drugs, but less health. We spend too much, too reckless, laugh too little, drive too fast, get angry too fast, stay up too late, get up too tired, read books Less, watching too much TV, praying too little, our wealth multiplied, but reduced our value, we said too much, loved too little, lied too much, we learned how to make a living, but there was no life, we increased the age of life, without life, we had higher buildings, but shorter temperaments, wider highways, but narrower views, we spent more More, but less, we buy more, but enjoy less.
We travel to and from the moon, but its hard to get to know new neighbors through the streets. We conquered outer space, not internal space. We split atoms, but not our prejudice.
We write more, but learn more about planning, but less on completion. We learn to rush, but Instead of waiting for us to have a higher income, but lower morality, we have built more computers to hold more information and produce more copies, but less communication. We need quantity, but lack quality.
This is an era of fast food and slow digestion. The relationship between tall men and short characters is more profiteering and superficial. Leisure is less fun.
There are more kinds of food But the divorced house is more gorgeous and the family is broken.

We may have had this experience before: most people always do some uncivilized things in public places, which disgusts and annoys most people, such as spitting, littering, urinating in public places. I personally had an embarrassing experience. One night, I saw a man pee by the river, and he was not embarrassed at all.
On the one hand, this inappropriate public behavior has a terrible impact on society. On the other hand, most unhealthy behaviors will spread germs and diseases to the public. These behaviors may lead to environmental pollution, with little or no consideration of the environment.
We must take measures to improve the situation. Our government should emphasize that teachers should teach all students this kind of behavior and implement acceptable standards for all students; at home, parents should educate their children. There is no doubt that immoral behavior exists in every public place, such as Beijing subway.
When you try to buy a ticket, you will find many people waiting in front of you, but no one is queuing up. Immoral behavior in public places will bring about a series of problems. One of the most serious things is that it may have a negative impact on our sense of social responsibility.
We will constantly ignore the rights and feelings of others. In turn, we will be disrespected to improve this phenomenon. Of course, it is very difficult, but it is necessary to call on people to do appropriate in public places What to do.
