語(yǔ)言無論什么語(yǔ)種都有基本的通用原則，中國(guó)孩子從小講中文經(jīng)過的語(yǔ)音順序是：聽，學(xué)單詞，短句，句子，對(duì)話，閱讀……英語(yǔ)學(xué)習(xí)同樣是語(yǔ)言學(xué)習(xí)，如果孩子不是chinese-english的雙語(yǔ)家庭，那么英語(yǔ)的環(huán)境就無法和中文相比。而“說”這個(gè)輸出的能力，就需要家長(zhǎng)長(zhǎng)期培養(yǎng)。
為了能讓孩子“輸出”即說出英語(yǔ)，聽、讀要處于優(yōu)先地位。這是英語(yǔ)教育和學(xué)習(xí)中家長(zhǎng)和孩子應(yīng)該具備的第一個(gè)態(tài)度。
在幼兒時(shí)期，家長(zhǎng)可以用玩、唱的形式去培養(yǎng)孩子學(xué)習(xí)英語(yǔ)的興趣。越小的孩子，越需要形式活潑和輕松的形式。chants, rhythm, songs, poems都是很好的形式。在聽的時(shí)候，家長(zhǎng)的第二個(gè)態(tài)度是：輕松。歌曲越輕松、熱鬧，孩子就越敢唱、喜歡唱，這是對(duì)0~8歲兒童的普適性原則。需要提醒大家的是，如果家長(zhǎng)有一定英語(yǔ)基礎(chǔ)，可以把歌詞給孩子念出，讓孩子可以準(zhǔn)確發(fā)音。需要注意的是，聽的時(shí)間，要隨著孩子的年齡增長(zhǎng)而逐漸加長(zhǎng)。
不過，對(duì)于上小學(xué)的孩子來說，聽輕松、熱鬧的英語(yǔ)歌曲就效果甚微了，此時(shí)，需要通過有含金量的文學(xué)故事來提升孩子的英語(yǔ)水平。
