The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have made their first public appearance as a married couple since the royal wedding. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, who chose to delay their honeymoon to attend to royal duties, arrived at a garden party in honour of Prince Charles 70th birthday. Held in the gardens of Buckingham Palace, the party will be hosting more than 6,000 guests from various charities and military associations linked to the Prince. Although the Princes real birthday is on November 14, celebrations are held in May as it is more fitting for a garden party. During her first public appearance as a member of the royal family, the Duchess of Sussex appeared right at home in her new role. She arrived wearing a light cream colour 590 Flavia dress by designer Goat, and a matching hat. While at the party, the 36-year-old bonded with her in-laws the Duchess of Cornwall, Camilla, and Prince Charles, laughing together over a shared joke. The Duke of Sussex also had an important role at the party, where he gave a speech honouring his fathers charity work, as well as the victims of the Manchester Arena bombing and the work of the emergency crews. Prince Harry said: Were here today to reflect on and to celebrate my fathers dedicated support to all of you and the work that you do. But first I would like us to take a moment to reflect on the tragic events at the Manchester Arena a year ago. We are fortunate to have over 250 representatives from the emergency services here today. It is right that we take a moment to recognise the amazing work they do every day. The Prince of Wales 70th Birthday Patronage Celebration is a way for Prince Charles to recognise and celebrate public service. The 70-year-old supports over 420 charities, which raise more than 120mannually.

Hi, everybody. This Sunday is Fathers Day, and so I wanted to take a moment to talk about the most important job many of us will ever have and thats being a dad.

Today were blessed to live in a world where technology allows us to connect instantly with just about anyone on the planet. But no matter how advanced we get, there will never be a substitute for the love and support and, most importantly, the presence of a parent in a childs life. And in many ways, thats uniquely true for fathers.

I never really knew my own father. I was raised by a single mom and two wonderful grandparents who made incredible sacrifices for me. And there are single parents all across the country who do a heroic job raising terrific kids. But I still wish I had a dad who was not only around, but involved; another role model to teach me what my mom did her best to instill values like hard work and integrity; responsibility and delayed gratification all the things that give a child the foundation to envision a brighter future for themselves.

That s why I try every day to be for Michelle and my girls what my father was not for my mother and me. And Ive met plenty of other people dads and uncles and men without a family connection who are trying to break the cycle and give more of our young people a strong male role model.

Being a good parent whether youre gay or straight; a foster parent or a grandparent isnt easy. It demands your constant attention, frequent sacrifice, and a healthy dose of patience. And nobodys perfect. To this day, Im still figuring out how to be a better husband to my wife and father to my kids. And I want to do what I can as President to encourage marriage and strong families. We should reform our child support laws to get more men working and engaged with their children. And my Administration will continue to work with the faith and other community organizations, as well as businesses, on a campaign to encourage strong parenting and fatherhood.

Because if theres one thing Ive learned along the way, its that all our personal successes shine a little less brightly if we fail at family. Thats what matters most. When I look back on my life, I wont be thinking about any particular legislation I passed or policy I promoted. Ill be thinking about Michelle, and the journey weve been on together. Ill be thinking about Sashas dance recitals and Malias tennis matches about the conversations weve had and the quiet moments weve shared. Ill be thinking about whether I did right by them, and whether they knew, every day, just how much they were loved.

Thats what I think being a father is all about. And if we can do our best to be a source of comfort and encouragement to our kids; if we can show them unconditional love and help them grow into the people they were meant to be; then we will have succeeded.

Happy Fathers Day to all the dads out there, and have a great weekend.

Good morning, dear teacher and my friends. Its a very intresting topic today.

I think my dad was a hero for me when i was a young child. wed go fishing, walks, and other fun things for a kid. Every child has a good and great father, and so do i. my dad played a very important role in my daily life`````exactly speaking, in my past 16 years. My father always stands in the center of my life, from past till now and possibly in the future. My family was rather poor when i was in my childhood. we didnt have our own house and had to live in a shabby, small room rented from my fathers factory. the room was so small that there was little space for people to walk. i didnt have my own bed and had to sleep with my parents. this is terrible both for my parents and me.but father made this all different!he works very hard on his own business, now we have our own 2 housese, surly,i have my own room.and he take our family so much happiness, richer and richer. When i was little, i did everything with my dad. you could always find me sitting on his knee or walking and doing everything with him. every night he would read me a bed time story and make the voices of each character. I learnt a lot from my daddy. i learnt to never take things to seriously and to always smile. Like many other fathers, my dad and i also has generation gap. he is not good at or even cant work the computer. so when i sitting at the computer desk,he will say something like you should pay more attention to your study, dont waste time on the computer games , it will be bad for your eyes and so on. how can i- a computer fan reduce time on computer? so i continue studying and playing on it Years pasted, my father is over 45 now. it is time for me to look after him and i am sure i will do and we will live an even better life. and i will say,i really love you dad, cause you are the hero in my mind. Thank you so much!
