My grandparents plant vegetables and grow rice themselves; even in their old age they still make food for themselves! I guess that is why they can remain healthy. More importantly they remain humble and never ask for too much from life. Perhaps that makes them common, but they live a happy life. My grandmother once told me this:” I do not want to live long, only long enough for some grand children to be running around in my house”. Since my graduation from primary school, until now, every time on my birthday I make the same wish. I wish my parents will not fight anymore. I am not complaining that they gave me a bad childhood, they just fight so much! I am unhappy but that does not mean they do not love me. They do! They love me with all their heart. I love my parents also; I want them to live a happy life as well.
I want to travel this great country of ours. I want to see the beauty of our country. I want to see the miracles that made this country great! I want to go from the east to west, from the north all the way down to the south! I have a dream, that one day I can travel and see my country with my family and friends! If that is not possible, seeing my country on my own is good enough also.
If I can fulfill all three of my dreams in life, then God can take me away. I would be happy, and l would have lived a full and prosperous life.

One reason is that if we give up too easily, we will rarely achieve anything. It is not unusual for us to fail in our first attempt at something new, so we should not feel discouraged and should try again. Besides, if we always give up when we fail, we will not be able to develop new skills and grow as people. Another reason we should never give up is that we can learn from our mistakes only if we make a new effort. If we do not try again, the lesson we have learned is wasted. Finally, we should never give up because as we work to reach our goals, we develop confidence, and this confidence can help us succeed in other areas of our lives. If we never challenge ourselves, we will begin to doubt our abilities.
In short, it is important that we do not give up when working for our goals. Good afternoon, everybody. I just want to say a few words about the landmark vote that the House of Representatives is poised to(隨時準備著) take today -- a vote that can bring us one step closer to making real the promise of quality, affordable(支付得起) health care for the American people.
For the better part of a year now, members of the House and the Senate have been working diligently(勤奮地) and constructively to craft legislation that will benefit millions of American families and millions of American businesses who urgently need it. For the first time ever, they've passed bills through every single committee responsible for reform. They've brought us closer than we have ever been to passing health insurance reform on behalf of the American people.
Now is the time to finish the job. The bill that the House has produced will provide stability and security for Americans who have insurance; quality, affordable options for those who don't; and lower costs for American families and American businesses. And as I've insisted from the beginning, it is a bill that is fully paid for and will actually reduce our long-term federal deficit(赤字，不足).
This bill is change that the American people urgently need. Don't just take my word for it. Consider the national groups who've come out in support of this bill on behalf of their members: The Consumers Union supports it because it will create -- and I quote -- "a more secure, affordable health care system for the American people."
The American Medical Association and the American Nurses Association support it on behalf of doctors and nurses and medical professionals who know firsthand what's broken in our current system, and who see what happens when their patients can't get the care they need because of insurance industry bureaucracies(官僚政治).
The National Farmers Union supports this bill because it will control costs for farmers and ranchers(牧場主), and address the unique challenges rural Americans face when it comes to receiving quality care.
And the AARP supports it because it will achieve the goal for which the AARP has been fighting for decades -- reducing the cost of health care, expanding coverage for America's seniors, and strengthening Medicare for the long haul.
Now, no bill can ever contain everything that everybody wants, or please every constituency(選區(qū)) and every district. That's an impossible task. But what is possible, what's in our grasp right now is the chance to prevent a future where every day 14,000 Americans continue to lose their health insurance, and every year 18,000 Americans die because they don't have it; a future where crushing costs keep small businesses from succeeding and big businesses from competing in the global economy; a future where countless dreams are deferred or scaled back because of a broken system we could have fixed when we had the chance.
What we can do right now is choose a better future and pass a bill that brings us to the very cusp(尖頭，尖端) of building what so many generations of Americans have sought to build -- a better health care system for this country.
Millions of Americans are watching right now. Their families and their businesses are counting on us. After all, this is why they sent us here, to finally confront the challenges that Washington had been putting off for decades -- to make their lives better, to leave this country stronger than we found it.
I just came from the Hill where I talked to the members of Congress there, and I reminded them that opportunities like this come around maybe once in a generation. Most public servants pass through their entire careers without a chance to make as important a difference in the lives of their constituents and the life of this country. This is their moment, this is our moment, to live up to the trust that the American people have placed in us -- even when it's hard; especially when it's hard. This is our moment to deliver.
I urge members of Congress to rise to this moment. Answer the call of history, and vote yes for health insurance reform for America.

給學(xué)生講課：激動時手舞足蹈,感動時淚流滿面；好笑時忍俊不禁,感慨時長篇大論；和學(xué)生一起在課文的浪起浪落中隨波遨游,品味課文的苦辣酸甜,感受文章的真諦與樂趣將課講活﹑講精、講好；盡量和學(xué)生互動學(xué)習(xí)，讓學(xué)生帶有感情地上課，身臨其境地去學(xué)習(xí)，在學(xué)中玩，玩中學(xué)；當學(xué)生對上課產(chǎn)生興趣時，往往能產(chǎn)生事半功倍的效果。而這，就是一個好老師應(yīng)該做到的第一點。
一個好老師不僅要擁有淵博的知識,將課講活﹑講精、講好，還要有高尚的師德。的確，一個老師的師德將會影響一個學(xué)生的思想。一位好老師，就應(yīng)該抓住生活課文中的一點一滴的小事，借機把好的思想傳輸給學(xué)生，將會使學(xué)生終生受益。當看見受傷的小動物時，就應(yīng)該教育學(xué)生：要愛護動物；當看到有人破壞花草樹木時,就應(yīng)該教育學(xué)生:要愛戶花草樹木；當看到有人亂扔垃圾時,應(yīng)當教育學(xué)生；要保護我們賴以生存的地球的環(huán)境。在學(xué)課文的時候,譬如講到《自己的花是讓別人看的》一課時,應(yīng)不失時機地教育學(xué)子：要學(xué)會“人人為我,我為人人”的品質(zhì)；講到《金錢的魔力》一文,老師又應(yīng)及時地告誡學(xué)生:千萬不要像托德與老板那樣有著見錢眼開的丑態(tài),不要為金錢所動……當然,不僅要教育學(xué)生,老師自己也要做出榜樣。例如:當大家在班級大掃除中都干得有氣無力時，老師帶頭大干起來，揮如汗雨---用自己的實際行動來打動我們、鼓勵我們；再如：當大家在街上看
見殘疾人乞討而冷冰冰不予理睬時，老師上前去，用同情與憐憫的目光看他一眼，用手遞上一張大鈔---用自己的行動去感化學(xué)生心靈中的角落，教育他們成為一個真善美的好少年……
現(xiàn)在，不少教師經(jīng)常體罰或破口大罵一些犯錯誤及成績不太好的.同學(xué)�？吹缴磉叞l(fā)生的一個個典型事例，我十分痛心，并堅決反對這種做法。我認為，真正的教育不是對學(xué)生體罰或破口大罵，這是一種能深深刺痛孩童們的心的做法。遭受了這樣“待遇”的同學(xué)們，不僅會心情愈來愈低落，對學(xué)習(xí)的興趣也會越來越低……這種狀況發(fā)展到最后，就會對這些莘莘學(xué)子們---甚至是祖國的未來---產(chǎn)生不良的影響。所以，我認為，一個好老師在學(xué)生成績不好或犯錯的時候，應(yīng)該親切地去鼓勵他，指出他的錯誤在哪，接著，以足夠的耐心，幫助他改正錯誤---而不是以體罰或破口大罵的方式。長此以來，學(xué)生不僅提高了自信心，還提高了成績---真是一舉兩得�。�
…… 現(xiàn)在，是充滿生氣的20xx年。在這一年里，主席曾發(fā)表了這一段令人深思的教導(dǎo)：“實現(xiàn)中國夢必須走中國道路，這就是中國特色社會主義道路。這條道路來之不易。它是在改革開放30多年的偉大實踐中走出來的，是在中華人民共和國成立60多年的持續(xù)探索中走出來的，是在對近代以
來170多年中華民族發(fā)展歷程的深刻總結(jié)中走出來的，是在對中華民族5000多年悠久文明的傳承中走出來的，具有深厚的歷史淵源和廣泛的現(xiàn)實基礎(chǔ)。中華民族是具有非凡創(chuàng)造力的民族，我們創(chuàng)造了偉大的中華文明，我們也能夠繼續(xù)拓展和走好適合中國國情的發(fā)展道路。全國各族人民一定要增強對中國特色社會主義的理論自信、道路自信、制度自信，堅定不移沿著正確的中國道路奮勇前進。 “實現(xiàn)中國夢必須弘揚中國精神。這就是以愛國主義為核心的民族精神，以改革創(chuàng)新為核心的時代精神。這種精神是凝心聚力的興國之魂、強國之魂。愛國主義始終是把中華民族堅強團結(jié)在一起的精神力量，改革創(chuàng)新始終是鞭策我們在改革開放中與時俱進的精神力量。全國各族人民一定要弘揚偉大的民族精神和時代精神，不斷增強團結(jié)一心的精神紐帶、自強不息的精神動力，永遠朝氣蓬勃邁向未來。 “實現(xiàn)中國夢必須凝聚中國力量，這就是中國各族人民大團結(jié)的力量。中國夢是民族的夢。也是每個中國人的夢。只要我們緊密團結(jié)，萬眾一心，為實現(xiàn)共同夢想而奮斗，實現(xiàn)夢想的力量就無比強大，我們每個人為實現(xiàn)自己夢想的努力就擁有廣闊的空間。生活在我們偉大祖國和偉大時代的中國人民，共同享有人生出彩的機會，共同享有夢想成真的機會，共同享有同祖國和時代一起成長與進步的機會。有夢想，有機會，有奮斗，一切美好的東西都能夠創(chuàng)造出來的。全國
各族人民一定要牢記使命，心往一處想，勁往一處使，用14億人的智慧和力量，匯集起不可戰(zhàn)勝的磅礴力量！”主席的教導(dǎo)，給我留下了深刻的印象。讓我們聽從黨的號召，好好學(xué)習(xí)，天天向上，為祖國的未來努力著---還有，那令人尊敬的老師們，請你們協(xié)助我們，奔向美好的、祖國的未來！
